Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and layout
Provide ad hoc assistance to other departments when required
About You:
3+ years’ experience in assembly, operations, or manufacturing—ideally within defence, HVAC, or aerospace sectors
Proven experience in mechanical assembly, workshop organisation, and using hand/power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly schematics
Strong understanding of defence or high-spec manufacturing standards
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
General computer skills
Desirable:

Familiarity with production planning or ERP systems
Current Police Check and valid Australian driver’s licence
What We Offer:
Contribute to meaningful projects that support Australia's defence capability
