🔎 About the Role:

As a First-Class Welder at MKW Engineering, you’ll play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of structural and heavy-duty components. We're looking for someone with top-tier welding skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.

✅ Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality FCAW welds in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead, etc.)

Inspect welds to ensure they meet internal and external standards

Operate welding equipment and maintain safety procedures at all times

Collaborate with the fabrication and quality assurance teams to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

Trade qualification or certification as a First-Class Welder

Proven experience with FCAW welding in a workshop or site environment

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Safety-conscious with knowledge of relevant workplace safety standards

the ability to pass a weld test 4g using a FCAW process
