Paisley Park Early Learning Centres
Posted 4 days ago
We are seeking qualified Educators for Lead roles at our Long Day Care Centre in Malvern East. Catering to 120 children per day, our double-story Centre provides ample opportunity for Educators to thrive regardless of their level of skill or knowledge. We understand that some Educators prefer to work with a particular age group. That is why we are very flexible and can accommodate preferences, so long as the candidate is flexible with their working hours and has a strong teamwork mentality. We do prefer a candidate who can work full-time; however, for the right candidate, we will accommodate part-time preferences. If we have already sparked your interest, please read on. Please note that we take pride in the culture we have developed, with a focus on respecting diverse backgrounds and life experiences. The only thing we ask is enthusiasm, initiative and commitment to ongoing professional learning.
This unique opportunity is ideal for candidates who have experience leading a team of Educators and are willing to work autonomously and support the implementation of a high-quality Educational program for children. The role requires a sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the National Quality Standards, and the ability to work collaboratively.
We are committed to supporting all our Educators in advancing their careers, offering many opportunities for them to be challenged and strengthen their knowledge. The Educator will receive ongoing mentorship and complimentary professional learning from experienced curriculum leaders to enhance their reflective practice skills and enable them to carry out their role successfully.
Our Centre is well-designed to accommodate our Educators, offering free car parking, a relaxed staff room, and a fully equipped café for respite and relaxation. We also have ample space for ‘off-the-floor’ programming either independently or in small groups. Educators with young children are also welcome to apply. We offer significant discounts on daily fees for Educators who are also parents at our Centre.
To be part of our Paisley Park family, the successful candidate will have:
1. An Early Childhood qualification (Diploma, University Degree)
2. A Working with Children Check
3. A Senior First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma Certification
4. A driver's Licence, or the ability to navigate public transport
5. Australian Residency or sponsorship capacity
6. Child Protection Certification and an understanding of their Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities
7. Have experience developing and implementing high-quality educational programs
8. The ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
We change lives, not just children. If you genuinely want to challenge yourself and become a better Educator, APPLY now.
