ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for a HR Truck Driver to join our JJ's Waste & Recycling team, operating from our Redlands (Cleveland) depot.

In this hands-on role, you'll be behind the wheel of a modern, well-maintained waste collection vehicle, responsible for the delivery and collection of bins across the local Mainland and Southern Bay Islands. You'll be combining driving with great customer service and working as part of a supportive team.

You’ll be driving a safe and dependable fleet, all serviced in our on-site workshops – so you can count on reliable equipment, every shift.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

A current HR licence

Forklift License – desirable

Previous experience in a waste services role is great, but not essential

Physical fitness and a willingness to undertake manual tasks (lifting/loading bins)

A safety-first mindset and commitment to following procedures

Good communication skills to work with team members and engage with customers

A can-do attitude and team spirit

Eager to expand your skills through cross-training in Waste Collection and RORO operations.

You’ll also need to:

Pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen

Provide your last 5 years’ traffic history

Available to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required
