Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial

Joining our team as an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to maximise their function and independence in their daily activities, rotating across inpatient rehab, acute and day rehabilitation services. Our Occupational Therapy Service is frequently involved in the care of patients, referred by specialist doctors, in the neurology, surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, palliative care and medical units of the hospital.

With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care.

What Makes a difference for us?

Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration

Minimum 2 years post graduate clinical experience in a tertiary hospital setting

Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is desirable

Exceptional communication skills, teamwork and a focus on patient-centred care

Commitment to continuing professional development

Weekday and Weekend availability is desirable
