About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the skilled team at A ONE ROOF RESTORATION as a Painter/Roof Restoration Offsider. Working full-time out of our Bracken Ridge location, you will play a crucial supporting role in the delivery of high-quality PAINTING work along with roof restoration services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Tasks Include:

erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering

preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces

selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives

applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays

hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges

cleaning equipment and work areas

may repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames

may lay and repair wall and floor tiles

EnsuriProviding support in the transportation and handling of materials to and from job sitesng work areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Safely operating and maintaining equipment and tools required for roof restoration projects

Collaborating with the team to deliver a seamless and efficient roof restoration service for our clients

What we're looking for

Some previous experience in a building trades or construction role, preferably in a PAINTING and roof restoration or similar field

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively

Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labour tasks at heights

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different job sites as required
