Transport Coordinator (Full-time, Home-based)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 + Super

Location: Home-based with adaptable, agile work methods

Reliance Freight Services is a family-owned transport company specializing in container movement across Australia. Since 2006, we've built a reputation for reliability and excellence in the industry. Our dedicated team, with over 100 years of combined logistics experience, works closely with shipping lines and depots to meet transport needs, including both empty container repossession and full container load transfers.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our close-knit team. This full-time, home-based role offers the flexibility of adaptive work methods to suit both personal and professional needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of drivers, ensuring smooth communication between teams, assisting with business operations, and handling date entry and reconciliation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Allocate drivers for jobs and ensure clear communication of required details.

Monitor industry-specific software for upcoming and in-progress jobs.

Maintain ongoing communication with drivers, terminals, and depots during working hours to ensure operational efficiency.

Compile completed jobs for invoicing and reconciliation purposes.

Assist with business operations, including meeting with clients and terminal operations.

Undertake additional responsibilities as designated by your manager to support ongoing operational needs.

About You:

Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience in logistics or transport coordination (preferred but not essential).

Proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to invoicing and reconciliation.

Ability to work independently in a remote, home-based environment.
