The Role
As Venue Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering standout service, building a high-performance team, and shaping the guest experience. You will lead a passionate front and back-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience every day. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of operations—from rostering and stock management to mentoring staff and refining service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who loves being on the floor and setting the tone for a warm, high-energy service culture.
What You’ll be Doing
Lead day-to-day operations with professionalism and care
Recruit, train, and inspire a motivated and friendly team
Develop a high-performing, motivated team through strong leadership and training
Manage budgeting, stock control, labour efficiency, venue profitability and supplier relationships
Maintain impeccable quality across coffee, food, and service
Drive operational improvements and team performance
Collaborate on menu ideas, events, and local community engagement
What We’re Looking For
At least 4 years of experience as a Café, Restaurant or Venue Manager
Strong barista skills and deep knowledge of specialty coffee
Natural leader with exceptional communication skills
Highly organised with a focus on detail and customer satisfaction
Experience with ordering, rostering, and basic financials
Ability to work weekends and lead from the front
