ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to hire a Graduate (or 4th Year Student) Architect for our Property Team. This is a junior to intermediate role, where you will work as a Graduate Architect.

You will be involved in a range of hospital, aged care and commercial projects. You will be working closely with the Chief Executive and Project Manager and there is potential for growth and development in this role for the right candidate.

This is a rare opportunity to join a property development team and learn about the health and aged care industry.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

· Producing architectural documentation for new works and proposed alterations

· Preparation of plans

· Liaising with consultants and stakeholders

· Attending site visits when required

· Attending monthly in-house Property meetings

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The right candidate should have:

· Tertiary qualification – recently graduated or 4th year student.

· 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role.

· Understanding and knowledge of the relevant Building Regulations, National Construction Code and Australian Standards.

· Ability to produce CDC, DA and CC sets of full working drawings for Council submission.

· Proficiency with AutoCad software.

· Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

· Highly motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude.

· Strong verbal and written English Skills.

· High attention to detail.

· Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
