About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto in West Lakes, South Australia. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic, repair and maintenance tasks on various vehicle makes and models. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues in vehicles

Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections

Use a range of specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Previous experience as an Automotive Technician

Formal qualifications in Automotive Technology

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude

Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's licence
