In the recent months J Surveyors has seen massive growth and is now looking to welcome another Engineering Surveyor / Technician to the team. We are looking to fill multiple positions in casual, part time and full time capacities.

As a Surveyor with us, you will have exposure to a broad range of construction projects and thus will be required to complete many diverse tasks. These tasks can include the following;

Site establishment works

Installation and commissioning of survey control

Survey monitoring of buildings and structures

Precise setout of building elements in a range of environments, from ground to roof, for earthworks, formwork, steel and concrete

Exposure to 3d laser scanning

Production of associated setout sketches and documentation. You will have the opportunity to complete your own office work during your normal week. No after hours work required

J Surveyors offer a genuine 45 hour work week.

The successful candidate will have the following;

The attributes expected of a professional in this field

A keen willingness to contribute to the business

Experience in engineering construction projects including residential and commercial building sites

Experience in the use of Trimble robotic equipment / Siteworks software would be an advantage. Training can be provided.

Experience in the use of CivilCad Magnet would be an advantage

There is plenty of room for you to steer your surveying career in the direction you want to go. Senior positions are available and we would welcome Surveyors that are looking for office / field balance.
