About The Opportunity
Programmed are currently seeking a Turf & Irrigation Supervisor to join our small team based at the beautiful Burswood Park.
In this position, you will be responsible for the onsite implementation of Turf maintenance programs. The role involves project planning, work scheduling, on-site supervision of employees and contractors and auditing the delivery of work on time with quality outcomes in a cost-effective and safe manner.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term stability, ongoing development, and the chance to be part of a supportive, close-knit team. You'll work Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning and forecasting
- People management and on-site supervision of employees and contractors
- Driving the operations from the front and managing the park as your own
- Auditing and inspecting the delivery of works as well as equipment and tools
About You
To join our team, you will have demonstrated experience in supervision of grounds maintenance and a strong commitment to Programmed’s values.
Additionally, you will have:
- Qualifications in Sports Turf Management or Irrigation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems
- Ability to pass police clearance and full medical including D&A
- WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
- Any further tickets/trade qualifications such as Pest Management, Traffic Management or Senior First Aid would be advantageous
