We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Integration Specialist to support, enhance, and modernise the Department's enterprise Data Hub and integration frameworks across a portfolio of new and ongoing projects.

As the Senior Integration Specialist, you will:

• Deliver application lifecycle services across development, maintenance, and enhancements of the department's integration platforms
• Lead development and deployment of new integration solutions using Azure and .NET technologies
• Support Data Hub enhancements and maintain existing EIP interfaces, including key Child Protection Services integrations
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across ICT, digital solutions, and business functions

We're looking for someone with:
✔️ 7+ years' software development experience using .NET 4.6+ and SQL Server 2019+
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, ADF ) and DevOps pipelines
✔️ Proven experience delivering secure, scalable integrations (real-time, cloud-based, brokered, publish/subscribe patterns)
✔️ Solid knowledge of application frameworks, enterprise messaging, encryption standards, and secure protocols
✔️ Strong communicator who thrives in a large enterprise setting, and can seamlessly pick up in-flight work

Desirable extras:

• Experience supporting platforms like EIP and familiarity with SSIS, Cosmos DB, WCF, and MEF
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and continuous improvement environments

Conditions to note:

• On-site requirement during onboarding and for notice periods
• All contractors must pass a Criminal History Check prior to commencement
• Up to 40 hours per week, capped daily hours, with flexibility considered
• No offshore work permitted - all work must be delivered within Australia
