About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tanker Driver to join our dedicated team at Unanderra Tanker Hire in Kwinana, WA. The applicant must have tanker experience and a dangerous goods licence would be an advantage. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various liquids to our clients across the region. This full-time role is an integral part of our operations, ensuring we deliver high-quality service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy commercial vehicles, such as tankers, to transport liquids to customer sites

This may involve driving various different vehicle configurations throughout the day

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance

Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and address any issues

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to each delivery

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations through feedback and suggestions

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Dangerous Goods licence would be an advantage

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tanker Driver or in a similar heavy vehicle role

Thorough understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team and customers

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
