About the role

Angels of the Bay is seeking a Diploma or Certificate III trained early childhood educator to join our team in Sans Souci, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity that will shape the lives of children from birth to 5 years old in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children

Providing a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment that allows children to thrive

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor your approach

Collaborating with parents and families to support each child's unique needs and interests

Maintaining compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and guidelines

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our service policies, procedures, and practices

What we're looking for

Diploma or Certificate III qualification

Minimum 2 years experience working in an early learning environment

Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, families, and the team

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds

Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a Working with Children Check
