The Weld Club in the Perth CBD seeks to employ a professional librarian one day a week to run it's small library of largely history, biography and fiction books. Ideally required on Fridays but Thursdays are negotiable.

Must be familiar with the Dewey system and ideally have worked with Inmagic single node DB/Text Works library software.

Duties include purchasing and cataloguing new acquistions, maintaining the manual loan register, returning books to shelves and content for the bi-monthly library newsletter.

It also requires interaction with members of the club to assist them with locating books and making book recommendations.

This is an opportunity to perform professional library duties in a quiet and friendly environment working as part of the club's adminstration team.
