FIS provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.
As part of the Service Development Branch, you are responsible for ensuring the full implementation and management of the Forensic Intervention Services Family Violence Pathway project.

What you'll do
As a Senior Project Manager, Family Violence working in the Service Development Branch you will define the Senior Project Manager, Family Violence Portfolio project’s strategic direction and plans, and effectively manage and lead a small project team, resources, stakeholders and suppliers.
You will:
Manage and lead the delivery of the Forensic Intervention Services Family Violence project undertaking design, development, transition, implementation and evaluation.
Maintain governance and project management requirements in line with the department's project management excellence (PME) framework.
Lead operational and strategic project specifically relating to the implementation of the family violence pathway within the Service.
Prepare complex briefing papers, correspondence, and proposals on a range of issues in a time-pressured environment for senior departmental stakeholders and required to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of senior managers, stakeholders, external government, and service providers on a range of complex program development and service delivery matters.
This role may require travel and the delivery of after-hours services

Technical Expertise
Demonstrated proven track record in managing and leading projects at all levels across a variety of public sector areas, preferably including organisational change (Machinery of Government), and information and communication strategies.
Experience in applying structured project management methods.
Experience in managing complex projects and processes within complex service systems.
Demonstrated understanding of the legislative and operational considerations impacting delivery of clinical services within a forensic environment.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification would be highly desirable.
