Dowerin Tyre Exhaust and Mechanical is a family-owned business in the Wheatbelt town of Dowerin, home of the Dowerin Field Days.

We are seeking an experienced qualified Mechanic/Tyre Fitter with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our business and support the town and outlying regions with their tyre needs.

This role is suited to a motivated individual with strong communication skills, with high attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and the desire to support our local community.

The Role:

● Permanent full-time position

● Delivering friendly knowledgeable service to customers in need of mechanical and associated services and products.

● Mechanical Servicing, Fitting tyres for passenger vehicles, Agricultural and Truck Machinery.

● Puncture repairs, etc.

● Maintain a high level of service, that is professional and friendly.

About You:

● Qualified Mechanic with Tyre Fitting or relevant industry experience

● Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and good driving record.

● Current Worksafe Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).

● Ability to work with minimal supervision.

● Have a strong safety focus and maintain a clean and tidy environment.

● Excellent Communication/customer service skills.

● Technology and computer literate.

● Understand and comply with Work and Safety standards and other statutory requirements impacting the position.
