A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Graduate / Junior Accountant to join a successful and well-established CA practice in Wollongong that has a great ongoing team culture and provides an excellent learning platform to help broaden and develop your career.

This CA firm works with a variety of clients including SMEs, family groups, investments, NFPs and large private businesses. The work is very interesting and extremely diverse and you will benefit from excellent mentorship with Managers and Directors that take a hands-on approach and want to see you succeed.

Working with a supportive Manager, you will be responsible for:

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SME's, high net-worth individuals, partnerships and trusts

Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST reconciliations

Preparation of FBT returns

Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a

Conduct research into tax related issues

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Ideally you will have:

12 months' experience or more in Australian accounting firm

Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree, studying or completed

Looking to commence CA or already commenced

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to the potential client facing nature of role

Eager to learn and ability to work collaboratively in team environment
