About the Role
Are you passionate about making a tangible impact in the NSW public sector? The Industrial Relations Branch at the Premier's Department is looking for a Senior Associate, Industrial Relations Capability to join our dynamic team within the People and Workforce Group.
In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of a strategic initiative focused on building industrial relations (IR) capability across the government sector. This is a unique opportunity to design and implement an innovative IR framework that strengthens workforce capabilities. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in translating insights into practical tools, training, and resources for agencies in an ever-evolving industrial landscape.

We're Looking For
- Industrial Relations Expertise: Proven understanding of public sector industrial relations frameworks, employment legislation, and government policy
- Capability Development: Demonstrated experience designing and delivering capability frameworks, training programs, and workforce development resources
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and feedback, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- Project Management: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to build trusted relationships, consult effectively, and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefings for diverse audiences.
