BWC are chasing a Yard Hand to join our team at the Keperra Quarry, with an opportunity to join the Mining/Extraction team for the right candidate.

Average hours are 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some Saturday work.

In this role you will:

Performing general yard duties as required to support daily operations

Maintaining cleanliness and order through regular housekeeping tasks

Conducting basic grounds maintenance, including mowing and weeding

Completing local freight and delivery runs as directed

Assisting with the general upkeep of machinery and equipment

Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs across the yard

Maintaining signage in and around the Quarry

Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures

Refueling plant and machinery and maintaining records of fuel usage

Successful candidates will possess the following:

Current driver's licence;

Good work ethic and can-do attitude;

Strong commitment to work health and safety;

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team;
