Right at Home Greater Logan assists clients who require care services whilst living independently at home. We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are located in or near Eagleby 4207 and surrounding areas for one of our NDIS particpants. We are looking for experienced carers who love growing long-term relationships, with a high-quality service, based in the community. Tasks involved in this position will be Personal Cares, Social Support, Domestic Assistance, Transport and many more. Previous aged and disability experience will be highly regarded.

Current Shift Vacancies:

Eagleby - Male Client, Spinal Injury, Mental Health, Behaviours of Concern.

Overnight support (most critical) - 8pm-6am. Combination of active and inactive support.

Day support - roughly 10am-5pm.

Essential:

Able to complete overnight support (sleepover).

Previous disability support experience.

Experience in dealing with mental health.

Must be comfortable with dogs.

Australian National Police Check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Drivers license and your own vehicle

Be willing to travel within the whole of Logan City (approximately 30 minute radius)

Preferred:

Certificate III/IV in Aged, Disability or Individual Support (for position including Personal Care tasks).

Weekend availability.

Experience with hoisting and Manual Handling (Ideal)

Available to work weekends.

Experience with complex behaviours and high care clients (ideal)
