The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities and gives people more choice and control over how, when and where those supports are provided.

Our organisation provides services to people with disability across the Gold Coast region. We are looking for dedicated people to join own team now in a range of roles across the Gold Coast, providing one-to-one home support.

This job is a long term Employment Opportunity with a certain degree of flexibility and potential performance bonuses for individual who pride themselves on excellence.

We have two locations, one in Southport/one in Merrimac. Please specify if you have a preferred location or if you are happy to work interchangibly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean residents' rooms

Perform Infection Control cleaning

Clean facilities' communal areas

Set up cleaning trolleys and remove rubbish

Complete cleaning records

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

You need to have a genuine passion for the elderly, connecting with each client through good communication skills, compassion and an empathic nature.

Previously worked in Aged Care Facilities /hospitals (essential) or any other cleaning role previously

Current Federal Police Check

NDIS worker screen card, or prepared to obtain one

Covid vaccination as per state government requirements

Driver’s licence, reliable car, and mobile phone (essential)

Have a good understanding of the safety chemicals and their correct and safe handling

Available Monday to Friday
