We're on the lookout for a remarkable individual brimming with enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. The role of a Pearl Domestic Assistant actively supports the individual of elderly people who are living at home, either independently or with family. This position is casual with the potential to be moved to permanent part time after the initial probationary period.

We have two positions to fill in our Domestic Assistance team.
One for the Northern Sunshine Coast region.
One for the Southern to Central Sunshine Coast region.
Monday to Friday availability from 7 - 4 required.
This is a casual position with 20 - 25 hours a week.
More hours available for the right applicant. Option to move to permanent part time after 6 months.

Here's a glimpse of what the role entails:

General household cleaning: kitchen, bathrooms, and toilets, vacuuming and mopping, etc.

Assisting with unaccompanied shopping for clients.

Meal preparation.

Bed making.

Laundry assistance and Ironing.

Being a positive presence for our clients, as all work is carried out while our clients are home.

What we're seeking:

1+ years’ experience in general cleaning or domestic assistant role is highly regarded but not essential.

Previous experience in aged care or disability care is highly regarded but not essential.

A friendly demeanor and being open to listening to our clients and understanding what they need and want.

The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Residency
Up to date national police check (issued within the last 6 months)
Australian Driver’s license
Regular access to a vehicle
Current First aid and CPR certificate
