Are you a passionate Chef looking to make a real impact in the Health Care sector?

GLAICA Ltd is looking for an experienced chef to join our team!

Your daily duties will include:

-Coordinating and preparing high-quality meals, including those for specialized diets such as supplements and texture-modified foods

-Assisting service staff with meal serving

-Monitoring and ensuring proper temperature control checks for meals, cool rooms, and freezers

-Promoting and adhering to food hygiene and kitchen safety practices

-Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and well-maintained, with all equipment in good working order

-Managing food supply orders, ensuring food is properly rotated and stored

What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

-A Certificate III in Cookery (or equivalent)

-Desired but not essential, prior experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Hospitals, Childcare, Disability)

-Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team

-A current National Police Certificate for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups

-Flexibility to work across mornings, afternoons, weekends and on-call shifts
