My client is a well-established, market leading (tier 2) ERP Vendor with a broad range of clients across Australia, with their Melbourne office being HQ. Their product suite is large & complex & serves clients across a range of industries. With continued appetite for their solutions from customers, they are now looking for several Functional ERP Consultants to come on-board & join their Professional Services / Consulting function.
I am looking for candidates from a range of business software backgrounds. My client has customers across a plethora of industries - manufacturing, retail, supply/chain, logistics, mining, utilities, education, telco etc. Their software supports business functions across the ERP spectrum - e.g. Finance, HR/Payroll, Manufacturing (WMS, SD etc), POS etc. Therefore, I am looking for candidates from various backgrounds, not limited to, but including those with,
1. Functional Experience with ERP software for Supply Chain/Logistics experience, ideally in the manufacturing domain but this isn't essential.
2. Experience of at least 1 ERP Software implementation (end-to-end) in this space.
3. ERP Consulting experience OR the Consulting 'gene'/Consulting 'DNA'
If you have experience of the above, please read on, this could be the role for you.
These are fast-paced ERP Consultant roles in a well-established & market-leading Aussie ERP Vendor. My client has sensible targets around your utilisation levels in a role like this as they understand the importance of good customer experience & provide the time & support to learn their product.
The role is busy, so you can expect to be working on several projects concurrently, all at different stages, with different clients. Client projects can vary from a couple of weeks to 12-18 months in length.
In terms of background, my client is open to considering candidates already working in an ERP Business Consulting role with a vendor ( e.g. Epicor, Infor, Sage, Attache, SAP B1, Relex, QAD, MS Dynamics, Pronto, TechnologyOne et al) or reseller/partner etc. or someone who is working in-house, has a passion for software, has worked on an ERP implementation internally & thought they would like to segue into Consulting - this is a well-worn path that my client can help you with in terms of training & support so if you do what to break into ERP Consulting then this could be the role for you. Functional ERP Software knowledge (Supply Chain) & Consulting qualities are the 2 core attributes required by my client.
My client is privately owned, has a great reputation, very good staff retention levels & it is a secure, well-run business. As a consultant you will have utilisation targets, but these will be realistic, allowing you to focus on delivering a quality experience to your clients. In the medium-long term you can expect to have the opportunity to progress into more Senior Consulting roles/Management, or segue into Project Management, Solution Architecture, or Pre-Sales. There is lots of scope for personal & professional development in this role, as my client always looks to hire internally first & foremost.
This business has a strong leadership team & is always looking to stay ahead of the competition. To that end they are currently embarking on an internal change/ transformation project, so this is a company that is embracing change & so the opportunity exists here to come in & make a positive impact. So if you have ideas, suggestions etc. about doing things better, then this is exactly the sort of place you will thrive as you will be given the forum/platform to do so.
These are excellent roles, working for one of the best ERP Vendors you will come across in Australia & whose growth plans for 2025 & beyond mean that there has never been a better time to join them. Whether you are an experienced ERP Supply Chain Functional Consultant working with a vendor/consultancy & fancy a change & working for a company with sensible targets & superb working environment, OR if you are working in an end-client, with superb functional software knowledge (Supply Chain, Logistics, ideally a grasp of the manufacturing industry desirable but not essential) & have experience of at least 1 ERP Software implementation & you would like to segue into Professional Services / Business / ERP Consulting then look no further -this is the role for you.
Please note, candidates must have full working rights, no sponsorship available. Candidates will need access to a vehicle (free parking onsite) for client visits (mainly Melbourne Metro region) as this is a customer focused role in a Professional Services environment. A hybrid working (3/2) model is well established here.
Interested candidates should apply online ASAP with an up-to-date CV or call Declan on 0451 651 486 for a confidential discussion.
