The Organisation
They are a large, national health provider with an enviable reputation for outstanding commitment to patient care and support, offered to thousands every year. As a complex 24/7 service, they provide a full suite of medical services whilst partnering with research and tertiary institutions. They are often called the jewel in the crown for their established culture and the quality of people who work there.
The Role
Working closely with the National Director for People and Talent, you will take the lead in this newly created function.
You will take responsibility for scoping, prioritising, reporting and providing key advice to the business including industrial relations.
Leading a team of HR and Payroll specialists, together you will develop and manage compliance programs in order to identify risk, implementing key controls to mitigate any risks and perform internal audits, lead remediation programs, provide key reporting to leadership including Board and also lead a steering committee for compliance. Salary is negotiable, circa $180k and there is salary packaging to factor in.
About You
Tertiary qualified and HR credentialed you are a strong HR Generalist who brings relevant experience within a large and complex business. Systems literate, analytical and with specialist compliance knowledge, you bring a wealth of contemporary HR practices and a deep understanding of IR Legislation and practices within the Australian landscape. A background within aged care and health is desirable, experience in a leadership role is non negotiable.
