Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

On behalf of our client we are looking for experienced Concreters and Formwork Carpenters for ongoing roles with our Mining Client. These roles will include above and below ground civil construction at our clients newly awarded project at Olympic Dam Mine.

This role is expected to be a permanent position with our client after a labour hire period.

Please Note: This site has a clean shaven policy.

Point of hire is Adelaide.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

ESSENTIAL

Valid South Australian Driver's Licence (ability to drive a manual vehicle)

Carpentry, Steel Fixing and/or Concreting experience (relevant to role applying for) in a mining or mining construction environment.

Trade Certificate where applicable

You you must be able to provide a National Police Clearance under 6 months old with a relatively clean history.

Working Safely at Heights.

White Card

Unrestricted Working rights in Australia.

Be clean shaven

A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.

Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical drug & alcohol test (at our expense) and regular onsite D&A testing.

DESIRABLE

Current Senior First Aid Certificate

Underground experience - desirable not essential

What's in it for you?

Casual Flat Rate of $60 per hour site allowance as set by the client.

14/7 roster day shift only roster.

Camp Accommodation.
