We're working with a leading EPC contractor delivering large-scale substation and high-voltage infrastructure projects across Australia. Their portfolio includes transmission, renewables, substations , and grid expansion works. With a growing pipeline of work, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee site delivery, quality, and safety for our substation construction teams.

The Role
As the Electrical Supervisor, you'll lead on-site execution of substation construction, ensuring all electrical works are completed to design, schedule, and regulatory standards. You'll work closely with project engineers, HSE teams, and subcontractors to ensure a high standard of workmanship and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day electrical installation for HV substations (11kV - 500kV).

Oversee a team of electricians and electromechanical workers.

Coordinate with project and commissioning teams to meet deadlines.

Ensure QA/QC procedures and HSE compliance are upheld on site.

Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts, and subcontractor management.

Interpret drawings, scope, and technical specifications.

Requirements

Trade-qualified Electrician with current license (NSW/QLD/SA preferred).

Minimum 5+ years supervising HV substation builds or upgrades.

Strong knowledge of disconnectors, switchgear, earthing, and overhead connections.

Experience working on transmission or large utility-scale infrastructure projects.

Ability to lead teams in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments.

White Card and current driver's license required.

LVR/CPR, HV Switching ticket, and RIW (or willing to obtain).
