THE OPPORTUNITY:

An exciting new opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join our close-knit team located in our Liverpool, Sydney office.

In this role, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assessing applications for and issuing Complying Development Certificates, Construction Certificates, and Occupation Certificates across a wide range of commercial projects.

Carrying out inspections of buildings.

Deliver a broad range of consultancy services to new and existing clients

Assessment of performance-based solutions on Class 2-9 buildings

Liaising with local authorities, architects, builders and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering, Building Surveying or related degree

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

Working towards registration as a Registered Certifier

A sound understanding and knowledge of Acts/ Regulations and Building Code of Australia

Excellent written and communication skills

Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills

Proactive team player with the ability to work autonomously

Enjoy solving problems with the skills to prioritise and meet deadlines

Class C Drivers Licence

Proficient in intermediate to advanced computer and keyboard skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software
