The Four Seasons Hotel Sydney have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Laundry Office Administrator to join our off site laundry located in the suburb of Alexandria.

Reporting to the Laundry General Manager, in this role you will work alongside a large team and take ownership of all office and administrative facets of the Laundry operation, from a people, product and profit perspective. You will ensure effective communication takes place with all stakeholders including clients, suppliers, contractors and employees, in order to ensure the expectations of our clients are met and exceeded.
What you will do:
Ensure accurate financial records by regularly reconciling accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payments, and investigating any discrepancies
Support month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial statements
Assist month-end account analysis, balance sheet reports and related journal entries
Assist in finalizing the annual budget, prepare quarterly forecasts
Plan and coordinate the purchase of annual linen from overseas supplier, ensuring costs stay within budget through careful analysis and forecasting, while managing linen amortisation over 12 months
Record daily timesheet and weekly payroll for 75 employees
Weekly invoicing for all clients
Reconcile transactions regularly, clerical and data entry tasks to optimize financial procedures, follow up on discrepancies, and help keep financial data accurate and up to date
Monitor office budget, tracking daily labour cost, ensuring all expenditures were within allocated budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Prepare staff rosters, track attendance, and provide general support to ensure team schedules run efficiently
Coordinate daily delivery runs by assigning drivers to hotel routes, managing schedules for four trucks, and providing clear instructions to ensure timely and efficient service
Conduct regular stocktakes of office inventory, manage orders and requisitions and shipment receiving
Manage workplace safety procedures and making sure staff are familiar with emergency protocols
What you bring:
Previous office experience in a commercial laundry an advantage
Solid knowledge of all facets of a commercial laundry operation including machinery
Strong microsoft and email systems knowledge
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail

The remuneration for this role is $73,150 plus super and benefits.
