About the Role

You’ll be working across Sydney on a variety of residential projects including new tiled roof installations and restoration work. This position requires attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a strong focus on safety when working at heights.

Key Responsibilities

Install terracotta, concrete, or slate tiles on new builds

Perform restoration work: tile replacement, cleaning, ridge capping, and re-bedding

Remove old tiles and prepare surfaces for new installations

Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and client expectations

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintain a tidy and hazard-free worksite

Collaborate and communicate with team members, supervisors, and occasionally clients

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Roof Tiler

Solid knowledge of tile types and installation techniques

Skilled in roof restoration methods, including re-pointing and waterproofing

Ability to read plans and specifications

Confident working at heights and in all weather conditions

Valid White Card (Construction Induction)

Strong commitment to safety and high-quality work
