We are currently seeking an experienced Utility Locator to join our team in a full-time, permanent position based in the Perth metropolitan area.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Salary: $150,000 + Super
• Hours: 50-hour work weeks
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Benefits: Company car and phone provided
• Additional Opportunities: Away work available with applicable uplift once permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately locate and mark underground utility services
• Operate and maintain electronic detection equipment (EM locators, GPR)
• Interpret site and utility plans
• Maintain compliance with all safety and legislative requirements
• help prevent costly and dangerous damage to gas, water, electrical, and telecommunications infrastructure.

What You'll Need:

• Cert Loc Accreditation (DBYD Certification) - Mandatory
• Before you Dig Australia (BYDA Accredited) - Mandatory
• Valid WA Driver's Licence - Mandatory
• Experience using EM locators and GPR
• Strong understanding of underground service safety and legislation
• Current Rail Industry Worker (RIW) ticket(s) - Desirable
• FMG or BHP inductions - Desirable
