About the role

As a Counter Salesperson at Capalaba Wreckers', you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their automotive parts and repair needs. This full-time position is based in Capalaba, Queensland, and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-established local business.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers in the showroom, identifying their needs and providing knowledgeable recommendations

Processing customer orders and payments, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales experience

Processing phone orders for account customers

Replying to parts request emails

Contributing to inventory management, order processing, and other administrative tasks as required

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably within the automotive industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

A keen interest in and understanding of automotive parts and repair processes

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to efficiently handle various customer requests

A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude

Must be computer literate
