What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and lodge tax returns and BAS
• Assist with tax compliance and reporting for a variety of clients
• Reconcile financial data and ensure accurate tax records
• Support the team in delivering high-quality client service
• Learn and grow your knowledge in tax legislation, compliance, and best practices
• Use Xero and MYOB ERP systems effectively

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2+ years' experience in a similar tax/compliance role
• Experience using Xero and MYOB ERP systems is a 'nice to have'
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Interest in pursuing CA/CPA accreditation (potential support available)

Our client will negotiate a salary package commensurate with capabilities and experience circa $60k-80k + super. More experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, and your package will be discussed on a case by case basis.
