IT Systems Engineer

• Initial 6 month contract with an industry leader
• Seeking Windows Server & Unix experience
• Work within ITIL service delivery framework

An industry leading client based in East Perth.

The role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer experienced in the administration of Windows Server and Unix environments

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance and technical support of Unix and Windows server hardware and software
• The design, installation, administration and problem resolution of relevant server, information security, operating system and personal computer technologies.
• Detailed problem analysis and support in server administration.
• Awareness of current data security standards and practices.
• Installation and management of a virtualised server environment.
• Client service delivery and practices within an ITIL service delivery framework

Key skills:

• Previous experience in the administration of Windows Server and Unix environments
• Proven experience working in large, enterprise scale environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• An understanding of ITIL methodology
• Relevant industry certifications would be desirable
