Morgan Sewing and Embroidery Centre ~ Casual/On-going Industrial Embroidery Machine operator & Shop Assistant Required

Working up to 20+ hours per week

Award rates, negotiable with experience

Must be available 8.30am - 5pm, Mon-Fri (occasional 9am-12pm Saturday)

Parking onsite available

Friendly staff, small family business

Prior experience REQUIRED in:

Customer service/retails/sales

Xero or similar invoicing software system

Duties include:

Competent in the use of software to fill our customer uniforms orders

Customer service

Sewing machine and stock sales (money handling and eftpos)

Clothing alterations

Event management - Teaching sewing classes/projects to small group

Knowledge of sewing machines

Stock management - online stock ordering, checking orders etc

Accurately booking in repairs and customer jobs/orders

Vacuuming, dusting, tidying shop space

Qualities required:

Has strong interpersonal and communication skills

Physically fit and has an ability to perform reasonable lifting when required.

Able to problem solve and find a solution

Able to perform duties with attention to Health and Safety

Attention to detail, has care and takes pride in what they make.

Maintain order and cleanliness in work area.

Friendly and dedicated

Great time management skills

Ability to quickly adapt to change and willing to learn
