Agline is a wholesale pet supplies distributor of premium pet food, pet accessories and animal health care products. Based in Cavan, South Australia, we are seeking a full-time Senior Store Person to represent Agline in the South Australian pet supplies market. In addition to our core wholesale business, we are rapidly expanding the services we offer to digital business requiring fulfillment and drop shipping for their online stores. We are a small and nimble team that works hard to offer exceptional service to our customers.

Summary & Purpose:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Store Person to support our business. The Senior Store Person will assist with the day-to-day warehouse operations, including packing of orders and inventory management, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and providing the high level of service Agline is known for. The successful candidate will have experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment and will have a current forklift license. You will be provided with the resources required to carry out the role effectively.

The role is full-time, and our trading hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Duties:

Picking and packing orders for dispatch

Assist with the relocation of stock on to pallet racking

Pallet packing and wrapping

Assist with maintaining good housekeeping, safety and cleanliness of the warehouse, building surrounds, carpark and equipment as directed by the sales coordinator

Assist with the control and management of stock inventory with rolling stock counts as directed by the sales coordinator

Assist with stock rotation and bring short dated / out of date stock to the attention of the sales coordinator

Book couriers for order pick-ups

Liaise with customers picking up orders as required

Use of inventory control and other software

Desired skills and attributes:

High level of communication skills, written and verbal

Strong organisational and time management skills

Able to take on tasks and responsibilities with minimal guidance

No formal qualification required

Warehouse or Storeroom experience highly favorable

Current Forklift license

Personable, friendly and able to form positive relationships within the team

South Australian Drivers License required, and ability to drive a Manual
