About the role

Forward Build Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Carpenter - Maintenance all rounder to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of corporate, retail and Industrial properties. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks, drawing on your diverse skill set to tackle a variety of projects.

What you'll be doing

Perform general carpentry tasks such as installation, repair and maintenance of fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, and other woodwork

Undertake repair patch and painting work as required

Diagnose and rectify issues, providing practical solutions to maintain the functionality and appearance of client properties

Liaise with clients, property managers, and other trades to ensure a coordinated approach to property maintenance

Assist with project planning and scheduling to optimise efficiency and minimise disruption

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Trade-qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality maintenance services

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find practical solutions

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, and skilled in a range of maintenance tasks

Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
