Melbourne Fencing Specialists

Due to the expansion of our business and increased workload, Melbourne Fencing Specialists are seeking an organised factory all rounder to assist with delivering materials, as well as day to day factory operations. We service most suburbs in the Metropolitan Melbourne region, with our head office and factory located in Carrum Downs, Melbourne.

About the position:

This is a casual position, 3-5 days a week that will be based at our factory in Carrum Downs.

We are looking for a versatile and energetic person who can assist with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

Constructing and fabricating fences and gates

Welding

Transporting materials and goods from suppliers and sites using a MR Vehicle

Organise stock and products for upcoming jobs

Assist the team in loading trailers and other vehicles with materials for upcoming projects

Monitoring and ordering stock to keep consistant invenotry

Keeping the factory neat and tidy

Occasional onsite labour with fencing projects when required

Responsable for keeping own

Melbourne Fencing Specialists offers onsite training for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for someone interested in entering the fencing industry. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of the fencing industry, knowledge of welding and tools, and a proactive approach to work.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

The ability to work in a team environment as well as independentl

A strong & proactive focus on getting the work done

Reliable and punctual

At least 1 years minimum experience in welding and fabrication is desired but not essential as on site training

will be provided to the right candidate

White Card (Construction Induction)

Work With Childrens Check

Valid Australian driver's license with own vehicle

Attention to detail and time management skills

Experience in the gate and fencing industry would be highly advantageous, but not necessary

Provide a police check and preemployment medical check
