About the role

Truland Development is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects in Wollongong, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all on-site operations and ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet project objectives

Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities, including labour, equipment, and materials

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks

Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

Mentoring and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors

Preparing and submitting progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or similar construction supervisory role

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications

Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies

Strong leadership and team management skills

Effective communication and negotiation skills

Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies
