The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Support Coordinator to lead our dynamic team in Newcastle. This leadership role involves managing complex participant cases, mentoring staff, and ensuring best-practice service delivery. You will work closely with participants, families, and service providers to navigate the NDIS system and secure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a caseload of complex NDIS participants, ensuring individualized and goal-focused support plans.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to Support Coordinators.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with participants, families, and service providers.
Drive continuous service improvement through staff coaching and best-practice approaches.
Conduct regular case reviews and compliance audits to ensure service excellence.
Act as an escalation point for complex cases and service delivery challenges.
Stay current with NDIS policies, service standards, and sector developments.
What We’re Looking For:
Extensive experience as a Senior Support Coordinator or similar leadership role in the NDIS sector.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
In-depth understanding of NDIS processes, funding models, and service agreements.
Exceptional case management, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex case management.
Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Disability Services, Mental Health, or related fields (preferred).
Current driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
