Join us at our Virginia-based facility in our Logistics Team as a Stores and Logistics -Forklift Operator, where you’ll contribute to high-profile, high-detail projects while working in a supportive and skilled environment.

About the role:

As a Stores and Logistics - Forklift Operator, you will play an essential role in the manufacturing and delivery of custom furniture pieces and joinery with care and professionalism. This hands-on role will see you involved in material handling, forklift operations, and logistics coordination to support our high-profile projects.

What you will be doing:

As a Stores and Logistics – Forklift Operator, you’ll work closely with our Logistics Coordinator and production teams to ensure efficient handling, storage, and delivery of materials. This dynamic role includes:

• Forklift Operations: Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.
• Stock Management: Conduct regular stock checks, report discrepancies, and assist in inventory control.
• Dispatch and Delivery: Pack, label, and load goods for delivery while liaising with drivers to ensure accurate routing.
• Warehouse Organisation: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, ensuring materials are accessible and stored correctly.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety guidelines, report hazards, and handle materials safely.
• Truck Packing & Transportation: Safely load and secure furniture for transit.
• Warehouse Operations: Assist with receiving, organising, and preparing stock for delivery.
• Machinery Use: Operate tools and equipment (e.g., trolleys, lifts) safely and efficiently.
• Health & Safety: Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Time Management: - Ensuring our projects are delivered on time.

What you will bring to the team:

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• An MR Licence would be beneficial or the willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Current OH&S White Card, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Legal rights to work in Australia.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
