Hours per fortnight: 64 Hours

The Role
Are you ready to lead and support nursing staff in a dynamic acute mental health setting? We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) for our Adult Psychiatry Unit to ensure high-quality, person-centered care in a busy environment.
Lead and support nurses on shift, maintaining excellent standards of care and patient safety
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic treatment plans
Manage daily nursing operations, balancing clinical care with unit efficiency and safety protocols
Foster strong communication and teamwork across the multidisciplinary team to drive the best patient outcomes
Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting a positive, professional, and supportive work environment
Champion patient safety initiatives, quality improvement projects, and continuous professional development
6 weeks annual leave
Shift work covering day, evening, and night shifts

Your new division
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
