Job Opportunity –

Your role will be to support external customers in the field; you will travel throughout Newcastle and Hunter Valley. You will head to breakdowns and look to work with the customer to rectify and diagnose the mobile equipment and ensure safety support and look to get machines back up and running. Working with the Service manager you will report back to the workshop on completed jobs. You need to be clear in your communication and provide technical details to the customer about what’s going wrong with his machine. You will be working on a varied amount of equipment from excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, tracked dozers, graders and compaction equipment.

Job requirements –

· Repair & Maintenance of equipment.

· Fault diagnosis utilizing onboard diagnostic systems and working with electrically controlled hydraulic-systems.

· Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.

· Changing-out parts and components.

· Working with diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulic and electrical systems.

· Working with specialized construction equipment

· Problem solving

· Reading Mechanical schematics

· Overall, inspect and repair of machinery.

· Coordinate with factory and workshop on technical issues.

· Communicate effectively with parts department.

· Order and control of all customer issues.

· Develop leads of external sales staff

· Assessment of work/repairs required.

Candidate requirements –

· Cert 3 Mobile Plant Mechanic

· Excellent Hydraulic skills

· Keen sense of technical acumen

· Good attitude and the ability to problem solve.

· Job Location – Hexham NSW

· Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4pm

· Hours per week – 38per week + Overtime
