Environmental Automation, a specialist in the provision of building controls and automation solutions with sites along the Eastern Seaboard, is seeking a BMS Service Technician to support the team and growing client base. This is a full-time position based out of our Melbourne facility in Cheltenham.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and commissioning of BMS/DDC Controls.
• Bring your expertise in commissioning, service, fault find, repair and provide maintenance of Building Management Systems. This work will include software configuration, testing and commissioning, calibrations and maintenance diagnosis, repair and basic programming.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by meeting client's needs and expectations.
• Being able to work autonomously to deliver a project from start to completion, within the company guidelines.
• At all times carry out your work in a safe manner and adhere to the company's WHS systems and procedures.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 2 Years Experience in Building Management Systems.
• Experience and sound knowledge of HVAC/BMS systems are essential, especially the use of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP and communication networks generally.
• Qualifications in Electrical and/or Air Conditioning trade.
• Experience with Tridium and Reliable Controls will be highly regarded.
• A current drivers licence.
• Excellent oral and written communications and reporting skills.
• Strong computer skills including hardware setup, MS Office and databases.
• Right to work in Australia.
