About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Cook/ Chef to join our growing team. In this role you will bulk cook from 6am to 2pm to get our hot food ban Marie filled and our cold grab n go fridge that consists of 15 different meals .

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook hot dishes and cold grab n go meals inclusive of pastas, curries, slow cooked casseroles .

Be able to use wastage creatively to turn into meals and plan menus and execution of menu. Be innovative and creative in new menu suggestions and execution.

Mix and weigh ingredients accurately.

Cook meals, sauces, and marinades according to established recipes and bring fresh perspective to new meal ideas.

Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.

Weigh and pack food products such as meat, meals, and sauces.
Receive and store food deliveries appropriately in chillers, freezers, and dry storage areas.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Adhere to strict hygiene and safety guidelines (OH&S, GMP's, and HACCP).

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry and in similar food environment such as production kitchen take away, restaurant, pubs, short order cooking and bulk cooking.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (OH&S, GMP's, and HACCP).
Relevant qualifications or certificates (e.g., food safety certification) are highly regarded.
