About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at The Lazy Crab Tavern in Bouvard, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in the operations of our hospitality business, ensuring we deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Planning, preparing and cooking high-quality, creative meals and dishes

Ensuring all food preparation and cooking activities comply with health and safety regulations

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Assisting with menu development and testing new recipes

Supervising and training junior kitchen staff

Providing excellent customer service to our dining guests

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably within the hospitality industry

Formal culinary training or qualifications

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
