We’re seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect to help shape the next generation of embedded software solutions. You’ll play a central role in designing scalable, reliable, and testable software architectures across a wide range of mission-critical systems. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering, hardware integration, and algorithm development. You’ll be the driving force behind architecture standards, process improvement, and the technical mentorship of software teams — ensuring solutions are robust, future-ready, and built with clarity and intent.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and guide architecture for embedded Linux-based systems
• Lead architectural design reviews and promote best practices across teams
• Build proof-of-concepts to validate new approaches and demonstrate feasibility
• Work closely with embedded, algorithm, and hardware engineers to align on software design
• Maintain detailed architectural documentation and improve team processes
• Identify opportunities to improve testability and system coverage
• Provide mentorship and architectural direction to engineering team members
• Influence long-term technical strategy with a focus on scalability and maintainability

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Proven experience designing software architectures for complex systems
• Deep knowledge of multi-process architectures and inter-process communication (IPC)
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages — ideally Python, C++, and Go
• Comfortable developing under Linux environments, preferably embedded Linux
• Experience working with version control, issue tracking, and CI/CD tooling (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you’ll be collaborating across diverse technical teams
• Bonus: Exposure to RF systems, FPGAs, or digital signal processing (DSP) is a plus
