About the role

Fabwitz Industries is a small family run business and is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in Harrisville, Queensland. As a full-time TIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production and fabrication processes of stainless snorkels and airboxes for 4wd's. This full-time position offers flexible work hours in our air-conditioned workshop with the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects while honing your welding expertise and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

Performing high-quality TIG welding on a range of metal fabrications, including stainless steel and aluminum

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace

Collaborating with a close-knit team to develop efficient techniques and identify areas for continuous improvement

Working as part of a small team and unsupervised

Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

What we're looking for

Experience in TIG Welding, stainless and aluminum, no trade required

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards

Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions

Good communication and be able to work unsupervised

What we offer

Full time position for the right candidate. $40-$50 per hour depending on experience

4 day work week - Monday to Thursday 6am to 4pm giving you 3-day weekends
